Utah State University Eastern is a two-year State-supported comprehensive community college that was established in 1938 by the Utah State Legislature and merged with a top-50 land grant and space-grant research institution, Utah State University (USU) as Utah State University Eastern in 2010. USU Eastern is located in the vast rural region of southeastern Utah and has a main campus in Price and a regional campus in Blanding. All credits awarded by USU Eastern are endorsed by USU; a unique situation that enables students with associates degree or sufficient transfer credits from USU Eastern to transfer seamlessly into the junior year at USU.
USU Eastern is undertaking new construction of a Central Instruction Building (CIB); and renovation of the library and the athletic center to create a more student-friendly environment for high quality learning and overall educational experience. The upgrade of our smart classroom equipment and technological infrastructure will ensure a modern computing network system for reliable quality service to our faculty, staff and students
