The Utah State University Eastern main campus is located in the city of Price in central Utah with a center servicing Emery County in Castle Dale.

Phlebotomy is the practice of drawing blood from patients and taking the blood specimens to the laboratory to prepare for testing. As a phlebotomy technician you are an important member of the clinical laboratory team.
HEAL 1860 - Phlebotomy and Clinical Laboratory
You will receive a certificate of completion for the Phlebotomy class, however, if you want to become nationally certified, you will also need to take the following courses in order to take the exam:
ENGL 1010 - Introduction to Writing: Academic Prose 3 cr.MATH 1050 - College Algebra 4 cr. -or- STAT 1045 - Introduction to Statistics with Elements of Algebra 5 cr.BIOL 1500 - Anatomy and Physiology 3 cr.NURS 1008 - Medical Terminology 2 cr.
