The Department of Biology at USU Eastern is committed to providing our students and the community with the opportunity to gain an increased understanding and appreciation of the biological sciences. Through laboratory and field experiences we enhance our students' skill and understanding of the principles and practices discussed in the classroom. Upon completion of their biology courses students can expect to fulfill their life science general education requirement, successfully transfer into a university biology program, or complete their Allied Health program.
Earn an Associate Degree with an emphasis in Biology
Students interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology can begin their studies at USU Eastern. The Biology program offers the student the opportunity to earn an Associate Degree and fulfill prerequisite and elective courses.
Even if you aren't a biology major you can experience the world of biology at USU Eastern. Several USU Eastern biology courses meet the Breadth Life Science (BLS) general education requirement.
