Mission
The mission of Student Support Services (SSS) at USU Blanding, is to increase the academic achievement, retention, and graduation rates of first-generation, low-income students, and students with disabilities.



Services

  • Tutoring in all academic subjects
  • Academic advisement
  • Classes to develop reading, writing, math, and study skills
  • Career, personal and transfer counseling
  • Assessment in academic skills and career interests
  • Retention forums
  • Financial aid information and application assistance
  • Financial literacy counseling.
Eligibility
  • Services are offered to students who are accepted to or already enrolled at the USU Eastern Blanding Campus and meet one or more of the following criteria:
      • Low income, as established by the U.S. Department of Education
      • First generation college student (neither parent has a four-year college degree)
      • Physical or Learning Disability
