New Access ID Cards

ID Card

The USU Eastern Card Office is changing its operation to run closely with our University standards at the main campus. Starting January 1, 2019 we will begin to issue the Access ID Card and follow the ID Card office procedures that go along with the operation.

The reason for issuing a Access ID Card:

  1. Our main USU campus is using this type of card and will allow students, staff and faculty the same access to campus facilities and events.
  2. Access into doors with electronic entrance will become more secure for our campus buildings and material.
  3. The card allows for multiple use - we can load information on to the same card such as electronic door access and meal plans.

A transition period will occur for all to acquire the new Access ID Card; this period is from January 1 through June 30, 2019. The old USU Eastern ID card will become obsolete starting July 1, 2019.

Anyone with a current ID card may pay the cashiers office in the One Stop Student Services building then bring a receipt of payment to the Card Office located in the Library and Learning Commons (LLC) Room 115 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Many questions can be answered by reviewing the Access ID Card Procedure. If you have further questions, please contact the Card Office or Amy Peters, amy.peters@usu.edu.
