Diverse USU Eastern Students

The purpose of the Center for Diversity & Inclusion is to increase USU Eastern student awareness about various cultures, to provide a space of equity, access, and social justice for underrepresented students at USU Eastern, and to assist students with multicultural competence and the ability to work with a variety of people from different cultures.

Diversity and inclusion services strives to educate and facilitate cultural experiences for USU Eastern students, faculty and staff through programs such as:

  • Queer Resource Center
    The Queer Resource Center is here to provide support to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Asexual, and Allies (LGBTQA) students, faculty and community.

  • Global Day
    An annual event which highlights and celebrates cultures from around the globe.

  • Diversity & Inclusion Workshops
    A variety of workshops to assist students, faculty, and staff with understanding diversity, equity, inclusivity, and social justice.

  • Annual Diversity & Inclusion Conference
    Event for students, faculty, staff and community members to explore issues of diversity and social justice on a deeper level.

  • Diversity & Inclusion Retreat
    Event for students to discuss diversity and cultural topics.
