 Natural Resources

The Natural Resources department works to better understand our natural ecosystems and to foster the sustainable use of our resources. Awareness of human interactions with our environment is a critical component of better resource management. We focus on the effects of human activities on aquatic and terrestrial landscapes and ecosystems. We seek solutions to problems such as air and water pollution, loss of biodiversity, and conflict between different uses of our resources.
