Catering Services

USU Eastern Dining Services offers nutritional meals and supports the dietary needs of any event, meeting or reception. Dining Services can cater 10-600 guests in various location on campus. Catering services are available for USU Eastern Functions as well as Community Events.

Many options are available depending on the type of event you are hosting. Please see our Catering Menus for costs and options.


Your first step in planning your event is scheduling the venue. The scheduling of rooms in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center and on the campus of USU Eastern are handled through Student Services at (435) 613-5559. All USU Eastern Facilities are smoke free buildings. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Dining Services are available anywhere on USU Eastern Campus. Dining Services must have meal selections and the attendance number ten (10) days in advance of the event date. Dining Services must have at least a 72 hour notice preceding the function to accommodate any count changes. Count changes with less than 72 hours prior to the event may or may not be accommodated, but if accommodated the customer will be subject to an additional surcharge.


Should it become necessary to cancel any event, Dining Services requires a minimum of 72 hours notice before the scheduled date of the event, If cancellations occur after this time, the customer will be responsible for ALL cost incurred in preparing for the scheduled event.

Costs and Services

Meals are served buffet style. Plated meals will incur an additional cost of $3.50 per guest. Meal prices do NOT include a 25% set up fee which covers the buffet set-up and full linen service. A charge will be assessed in the event of removal or damage of any of these items.

Events held outside the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center will be assessed a delivery charge minimum of $25.00 per employee, per trip. In the event you need catering outside the JLSC a minimum guest count of 20 is required.

For events of 25 or more a 25% deposit will be assessed and payable when the event is scheduled.

  • All food consumed on campus must be purchased exclusively from USU Eastern Dining Services.
  • No food or beverage provided for a served meal, buffet, or delivery may be taken from the event.
All menu items and prices are subject to change without notice. **Listed prices DO NOT include sales tax of 7.35% or set up fee of 25% of food sales.
