Library & Learning Commons

The term "commons" is an old English legal name for common land and is a shared resource in which each stakeholder has an equal interest. The learning commons revolution is occurring through the nation where libraries have extended their impact as centers for teaching and learning.

Utah State University Eastern is investing in the future of redesigning spaces for purposeful and self-directed learning. Includes student collaboration and research innovation.

Communications Commons

The Communications Commons includes computers, software, study rooms, and collaboration centers for student and faculty exploration.

Students are encouraged to use the Communications Commons for independent and group study.

Academic Tutoring

Academic tutoring is FREE to for all USU Eastern students! 

Tutors follow the academic schedule, so tutoring is not available on holidays, school breaks, and weekends unless special arrangements have been made. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Aggie Center for Enrichment

The Aggie Center for Enrichment (ACE) provides academic support with open-entry/open-exit learning opportunities. Courses are non-credit and can be completed at your own pace.

Summer hours
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Closed August 3 - 24 (except for WRAT assessments)

Reflection Room

The Reflection Room is for students, staff and employees to carry out either structured or unstructured meditation, reflection or prayer.

Production / Makerspace

Makerspaces are spaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. This is a student production space for individuals and groups with supplies for learning.

Plans continue as we transition from Phase II that involved moving things around to Phase III that will involve architectural changes and decisions for a food service invite.
